I used vinyl from @zippervalley, she has a great selection and the vinyl is top quality. I used #5 zipper tape and pulled (also from ZipperValley). It's easier to add insert a pull on #5 tape than #3 (ask me how I know!). Using 1/4" double sided tape is a must to make sure your zipper stays in place when you sew it. A Teflon foot it also handy when sewing with sticky vinyl (no need to spend big bucks, I got mine from Amazon for a few dollars). Lastly, I use microtex 90/14 needles when sewing thin layers of vinyl like here. I use polyester multipurpose Gutermann thread.
