We’ve had these tall stock tanks for years and decided we’d put them together to create an arch that leads into the children’s garden and play area. We lined it up with this lovely wooden arch my wife built for the grapes to climb. We planted a few seedlings and then tucked in some seeds as well! Once everything starts popping up, we will fill it all in with flowers and herbs too. I’m so excited…

Did you know...The vines get stronger as the pumpkin gets bigger? It was so cool to witness this year. I wrapped the first pumpkin thinking I had to support and then 25 more pumpkins started growing and I watched them all support themselves and the vines were amazing... I didn't do anything! I helped the vines grow up the trellis just a little bit. I tied 4-5 spots on the trellis to ensure they would grow up. I grew some from seed and transplanted AND I grew some right in the ground at the arch (direct sowed) Surprise! The ones that I planted in the ground did way better and I will direct sow more this year and transplant on Pumpkin Arch Garden, Pumpkin Trellis Ideas, Gardening 2023, Pumpkin Arch, Pumpkin Trellis, Pumpkin Wine, Farmhouse Fixer Upper, Pumpkin Vine, Biggest Pumpkin
