Dark and Stormy Free Quilt Pattern
Lori pieced this bright and bold quilt using my free pattern called Four Patch Charm Quilt which can be downloaded off my sidebar. Lori used a solid black background to allow the bright batik fabrics to pop! I quilted it with the Mimosa pantograph, used black So Fine thread and Lori brought a Pellon Cotton batting. It was a chilly morning to be out taking quilt pictures in snow. It was -32'c and colder with the windchill!

There's Good Folks in there, as well as a little Bohemian, Innocent Crush & Garden Party. I used the Over & Under pattern from the Scrap Basket Sensations book, but added 2 rows (8 blocks) to make it rectangular instead of square. Its now 48" x 72". After much debate, my son & I decided to go with no border & to just use the Charcoal Quilters Linen for the binding.
