Building on the success left by the previous aeroad would be no easy task. To do so, it required one of the most resource­intensive development projects Canyon has ever undertaken. Starting in 2016, it’s taken over four years to get to this point, with suc­cesses and setbacks along the way, all in pursuit of creating the new benchmark. My new build. The model is an old swedish racing bike from the seventies called Crescent 92319, Världsmästarcykeln. Built from Reynolds 531 tubing. I fitted it with a moustache-bar, larger tyres, fenders, porteur-rack and of course, a brass bell. This bike is going to serve as my everyday bike.
