Students: Michael Aiardo, Austin Pena and Ashley Feyes. The City of Boston established initiatives to combat climate change and build a resilient future. The project was to design a rec center (play) that also serves as a disaster relief space (performance) and an emergency shelter. Students contended natural disasters and sea level rise, while also enhancing the overall experience of the design. The group looked at ways to see the architecture change with the ongoing flooding.
