Space pirates

The Rumstronaught is the player’s ship. Its unique design allows its weapon to be operated independently from the ship’s rotation axis - they are installed on separate drones controlled remotely from control panels.

This artwork was done for the Space Pirate theme over at Character Design Challenge (https://characterdesignreferences.com/news/theme-of-the-month). Upon posting, I got some comments to post a WIP, which led to this first post on ArtStation. Hope anyone willing to read through this finds it valuable (or at the very least, entertaining). Enjoy!
