Repetition is successfully demonstrated in this design through use of color, font, and shape. The advertisement consistently uses the color palette of gold/orange and blue in the transportation illustrations. The selected colors and shape placement are successful in moving the eye around the advertisement because you are initially drawn to the large header text, then trace through the train tracks and onto the logo and description.

Inside the 5th Avenue-53rd Street subway station, a new site-specific exhibit showcases the connection between modern art and the graphic design of New York City’s transit system.
