This is actually my favorite cream cheese. So, we're going to use this but you definitely could use regular cream cheese. I know there's chive cream cheese, whatever you like. I'm just going to go back and just spread each one of these out right on top of the croissant just like that. Super easy, really fun to make if you're having friends over for a brunch. Well, we even like it for dinner actually. Just going to roll them up just like that. So, we have that cream cheese right inside of it. Just take each one and just seal em up. This would be a great one to make with that Borsen cheese also. You guys know how much I love that. Mm. That would be delicious. Alright, I have a nine by 13 dish and I melted some butter and I'm just going to spread that butter in our dish. Not only to help so it doesn't stick but the flavor is so nice when you add that in. Just going to bring in those crescent rolls that we filled with cream cheese and add that in our butter dish. So I'm going to put eight on each side. The next thing I'm going to add is some everything bagel seasoning. I love everything bagel seasoning. You can use any other seasoning that you like but this is just one of my favorites so I add it to a lot of my breakfast casseroles. I'm going to cut up eight ounces of ham. You definitely could use sausage if you like to or you can just keep the meat out if you don't want meat in this. That works just fine too. There's so much flavor in it. So I'm just going to come back because we want this into cube and just cut it up. I'm just going to add those pieces of ham right on top of our crescent dough. I diced up some jalapeno and I'm going to add that. This is optional. My family loves this and I've mixed up six eggs with one cup of milk and I just added a little parsley for color. Fresh thyme would be really good in this too. I just don't happen to have any right now. Alright, last ingredient. I have some cheddar jack cheese. I have my oven set at 375 degrees. And it'll cook for 30 to 40 minutes and then we're going to taste it. Alright, our ham and cheese breakfast bake is done. It looks great. Okay. I've let it cool for a few minutes and I'm hoping I let it cool long enough so it's not too bad. Not too hot. Oh yes. Look at that cream cheese in there. Oh gosh it looks so good. Okay. I'm excited about that. I am going to garnish it up just a little bit. So I'm just going to add a little bit of fresh tomatoes on it. And a little bit of parsley just to make it look pretty. How pretty is that? Alright. Here we go. Look at all that cream cheese. Oh gosh. Okay. Oh that's excellent. With the cream cheese and the ham and the other cheeses. Yum.

Christmas French Toast in a Crockpot! | Christmas French Toast in a Crockpot! Hanna makes her favorite french toast for Christmas morning! | By Hanna and Zechariah | Starting by putting a whole loaf of bread in our Crockpot. Every piece, there we go. Okay, what are we making? Squish it in. We're making some, oh, we might need to do two rows of this. We're making some easy overnight Crockpot french toast. So, if you have family coming into town, you need to feed a whole ton of people and one, this is going to be the recipe for you. There we go. So you got all your slices. Kinda spread them out. They all fit in there beautifully. Gorgeous. Putting in two sticks of butter into a microwavable container. Bella pressed down. There we go. So it's a cup of butter and then we're adding a cup of packed brown sugar. Get in there. Should've done the sugar first maybe. All good. Coming in with a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar because this is going to be sorry. Just regular cinnamon. We already have the sugar in there. This is going to be our cinnamon sugar french toast. So we need cinnamon is important. Just couple sprinkles. If you want to measure you could do a teaspoon. And then a little teeny tiny dash of nutmeg. You don't want to give anyone a tummy ache. But we just want to add a little bit of extra spice We're going to microwave this for about 30 seconds until everything's melted. Okay, so this took me three intervals of 30 seconds to get this all melty and what we're going to do is we're going to pour this in between each slice. Oh yeah, a little bit in each slice. I need to get rid of the spoon. This is cinnamon sugar swirl. Ooh that was a thick thick one right there. Yeah. Get in those cracks. Really spread spread the bread. Smells so good. Mm hmm. This is literally going to taste like a cinnamon roll. The best part is you can just put this on right when you wake up or like it can cook on slow for four hours you can do it or high for two so you can just put it in forget about it and then the house is going to smell amazing while this is cooking up this is a great Christmas morning recipe I love it so then once that's done set that aside for a second we're coming in with the big guns here eight eggs okay eight eggs and three cups of milk pour that right in let's kind of whisk those together thumbs starting to mix up here. Next ingredient is going to be maple syrup. I want to do, there's already some sweetness in there. So, I'm just going to do one fourth cup because what's french toast without a little hint of maple. You can always pour maple syrup over top when you're actually eating it but this gives just a little hint of sweet. Of course, we're going to need some vanilla. This is kind of the secret recipe. Oh, this is a brand-new vanilla. I need to get that top off. There we go. And we want a lot of vanilla flavor in this. So, we're doing a whole tablespoon of the vanilla. Yum. It's going to smell amazing while it's cooking and then we're also going to need a teaspoon of salt. Just pop it right on in there and then we mix. Easy as that. I like making a Crockpot french toast all in one for big gatherings with lots of people because it takes so long to make french toast piece by piece. This is just all in one baby. Once we've got our egg mixture all done up. You know what we're doing. We're pouring it right over to everything is coated and covered. This is going to fluff up a bit as it cooks. Just want to make sure everybody got some so I'm going to kind of give these like just a little jostle. Make sure everyone's given some love. We don't want any dry spots in our french toast. Not in this house. Not in this house honey. Feeling a little dry over there. Here we go. Look at those. Do you see that? Little like pockets of yummy cinnamon sugar. This is cinnamon sugar swirl french toast. Just to add one more little note of deliciousness. I'm going to top it off with some pecans. I love a little crunch and like the nuttiness of the pecans just really makes it so yummy and beautiful that's good we can always add more later but let's get this thing cooking paper towels on top this is the secret to not getting all that mushy condensation ruining your dish so get layer of paper towels I might even add another layer but that's good we're going to put the lid on I'm going to cook it on high for two hours because I'm eager to try this but you can also cook it on low for four hours so depending on how much time you need let's take a look see oh see all that condensation. Ugh. That's why we do the paper towels. It doesn't drip on in. Has oh my. That looks delicious. Goodness. That I wish you could smell it through the screen because this smells amazing. Okay, I need to get a little scoop out one of these pieces in here. Oh yeah. Yum. It's like It's like bread pudding. It is like bread pudding. But it's like a french toast bread pudding. French toast cinnamon swirl bread pudding. Yum. Bon appetit. That is steamy hot. I should not put that in my mouth quite yet. Enjoy. Cheers.

So, I'm just going to add that to the bottoms of six croissants. This is so nice to make it the day ahead. Put it in the refrigerator and bake it the next morning. And now we're just going to cut them in fours. Alright, we have all of our croissants cut into fours. So, I'm just going to start laying them in my greased nine by thirteen pan. Alright, that looks great. Alright, so we're just going to mix together one and a half cups of milk, some lemon flavoring, just a teaspoon of up, 2 eggs, half a cup of powdered sugar, the zest of a lemon. That's it. Whisk that together. So I'm just going to pour this right on top of our croissants. Making sure to kind of try to coat all of them as much as you can. Top this with some foil in the refrigerator for eight to ten hours. And we'll do the rest of it tomorrow. Good morning. Alright. Our strawberry overnight croissant French toast has been sitting overnight and looks great. So next step we're going to cover it back up. And I have my oven preheated to 350 degrees. Bake it for 30 minutes covered and then uncover it and then bake it for another 20 minutes. So while we're waiting for our French toast to cook we're going to make our strawberry sauce. So I have one pint strawberries which I've washed and then cut into little pieces and about a third of a cup of sugar. We're going to cook that until that cooks down and makes a nice strawberries, alright? So, we've made this easy strawberry sauce. I'm just going to add a tiny bit of some vanilla into it just to give it a little extra flavor but it looks great. If you guys don't like the chunks of the strawberries, you can puree it so that you don't have that or you can mash it with the potato masher but I like to have the nice of the strawberries and this will thicken up as it sets. But we've got our sauce ready for our French toast. Alright. Our overnight strawberry croissant french toast is done. So now we can taste this. I'm excited to taste it. You can hear it's nice and crunchy on the top. You can see that cream cheese layer in there. Yum. I'm going to add a little bit of our strawberry sauce on top. I'm just going to add some whipped cream that I have made on top of that. Gosh, it looks so pretty. I'm excited to try this. Oh my gosh. That is excellent French toast. And so easy. You guys gotta make this overnight strawberry croissant french toast. It's amazing.
