154K views · 28K reactions | *warning* this recipe is messy and you WILL be left with bits of chocolate around your mouth (like me) because of how addicting it is. but also, no holiday season is complete without this sweet and crunchy toffee bark. full recipe below, enjoyyyy 1/2 cup butter, cubed 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1/2 tsp salt 2 tablespoons sliced almonds 1 cup chocolate chips 3-4 tablespoons chopped walnuts Line a sheet pan with parchment paper. Set aside. Combine the butter, sugar, and salt in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally. It will bubble up and look light and fluffy and then turn a deep glossy caramel color. Pour the butter and sugar mixture onto the prepared sheet pan. Spread it out into an even layer. Sprinkle the sliced almonds directly onto the butter and sugar mixture. Let sit for two min. Top with the chocolate chips and let sit for five min until they melt. Last sprinkle the walnuts on top. Let sit in the fridge until it sets. Crack into bite sized pieces and enjoy! | Sarah Fennel
