I’m Haiaty Varotto Silva Fonseca, a Senior Software Engineer and AI Architect.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a master’s degree in ICT Development. I am also certified as a Software Architect and AI Architect.
My achievements or notable accomplishments in my career:
- Authored “Luminous architecture” and “Controllable Autonomous Agentic Loop“, that together are extremely powerful in the agentic development era
- Developed methodology for autonomous software development with AI coding agents and keeping maintainability and quality and reducing cost/time by 30-50%
- Saved 100K+ euro on local AI setup for SOTA open models with analysis and strategic decisions.
- Designed the architecture and developed several different GenAI applications leveraging AI models, prompt engineering, context engineering, reasoning techniques, different RAG patterns, embeddings and indexing with metadata and chunking strategies.
- Architected and developed a large scale enterprise application worth more than 70M$+ for one of the most important institution in the financial sector (SWIFT)
- Architected and developed a high complex and customizable ETL system
- Designed and developed several microservices with web APIs (REST, etc..)
- Designed and developed a complex project for designing medical electronic data capture in a highly regulated sector
- Architected and deployed a POC blockchain network in a test enviroment using Hyperledger Sawtooth with PBFT consensus. Developed the transaction processor(“smart contract”) with node/rust sdk and a nodejs client with fastify to allow other clients to send tranactions and read state.
- Developed high secure/militar grade workflow for encrypt and share part of files in NodeJs
- Developed 30+ different web applications from simple, to medium to large scale ones with different architectures and designs (microservices, monoliths, modular monoliths, hybrid SOA + microservices, SPA, SSR, REST APIs, web APIS)
With a strong interest in software engineering and in software architecture, mainly in the architecture of complex web apps and GenAI apps, i have acquired the knowledge necessary to design web applications, distributed web applications, AI systems that performs well and are scalable, reliable and safe.
Architect, design web applications and write code for me is like an art. It must be done well and in an elegant way and solve the problem.
I strive to know and apply the best practices in every field that i work on and i am constantly learning and updating my knowledge and skills.
