Introducing the Hypixel Network In-game Store
Right in time for Holidays, we are pleased to announce the first version of the in-game Hypixel Server store!
▶ What is the in-game store?
From now on, you will be able to buy things directly inside the server at the new Store NPC in every lobby. Instead of making multiple transactions on the webstore, all you need to do is transfer funds from the webstore to the in-game store and you are set - that is, until you spend it all!
Found on our current Webstore at store.hypixel.net, you will be able to purchase Gold to be used in the In-Game Store.
Using Gold, you can buy pretty much obtain anything the webstore already offers other than ranks as these are a little bit more complex to add to the in-game store. However, soon we will also be adding MVP++. This currency can ONLY be purchased on our webstore - it cannot be obtained in-game.
SkyWars Update - Leveling/Experience, Corrupted Games, Mythic Kits, & Much More
Hey all!
Today we have a brand new SkyWars update introducing SkyWars Experience and Leveling, Corrupted games, Mythic Kits, restructured insane/normal kits and perks, solo challenges, bugfixes, and much more for the holiday season!
Many of the features and changes in this update were designed with veteran SkyWars players in mind. We understand that there wasn't much to work towards once you've unlocked all kits, perks, cosmetics, etc. so this update attempts to address that problem. In the same way that we worked with the community to rebalance Kits & Perks, we want to work with you to ensure all of these new features are as fair and balanced as possible. Keep this in mind as you read on below, and let us know if you have any questions or concerns!

As we've mentioned before in other news posts, we are working on the Classic Games update that will not only improve your gameplay experience, but also remove a ton of pesky bugs you've seen over the time. Pre-Announcement Community FAQ
What is Hytale?
- Hytale is the game that the Hypixel Studios team has been working on for the last several years - it’s sometimes been referred to as ‘standalone’. We can’t say more than that for now. No spoilers!
- The group working on Hytale actually commenced work over two years ago, so there are no changes being made to the ongoing development of the server network. The Hypixel Network will continue to operate, update, and create new things.
- Fortunately for us, Hytale’s development is fully funded. We haven’t finalized the business model, but payment will not be a factor until the game is playable.
- Hytale is a brand new game and it is not possible to move anything between the two.
- No. Nothing is shared between the two. We’re launching new social media channels for Hytale to help you follow the game’s development, see below for links!
- Hypixel Inc. is the company that runs (and will continue to run) the Hypixel server. Hypixel Studios is a new company that has been formed in order to develop Hytale.
- This week is all about showing you what the team has been working on in secret for so long. A website for the game with additional info - screenshots, concept art and more - will launch alongside the first look trailer. We get that you’re excited to play - we’ll let you know as soon as we’re ready to open the doors!
- Yes, Hytale will be available for Windows and Mac. More information about platforms will follow when the countdown ends.
- Yep! There will also be a content creator-oriented FAQ available on the Hytale website upon unveil. You also have permission to reupload and activate monetization on the trailer for purposes of reaction, analysis, commentary, and so on.
