We just released v0.4 for The Bridge, with 3 brand new maps, and a ton of achievements and cosmetics!

The new update has been released for UHC, available to play now in the new UHC Lobby. Read on below for a full list of changes and additions, or play it right now by clicking the UHC Lobby NPC, game menu icon, or using the command /lobby uhc.

A new patch has been released for King of the Hill, available to test now in the Prototype Lobby. For information on the changes, check out the details below.

▶ New mode: 4 Teams

In this new chaotic mode, the goal remains the same: fight with your team to become the King of the Hill!
However there are big differences:

• There are 4 teams of 3 players
• Each map will have 4 different Altars
• Overtime is reduced to 1 second only!

As some of you might know, Dctr in cooperation with the Player Council recently released a great update to Blitz SG with a ton of new content (full release notes can be found here) and we would like more of you to go in and enjoy this amazing update.

Therefore we are creating a small incentive for new and old Blitz players, to join us in playing Blitz this weekend.


The reason behind this:

With incentives like these, we are going to try and get some more players into some of our older games to strengthen their community and reduce their waiting time for game starts. We will be trying a few things to accomplish that, take note of what is working and what not, and then implement those changes to other games as well.
This could mean that a 5x Coins & XP weekend happens for other games but also, that we try something else if we don't see any impact of those events.

Ideally, we want to add value to one of our older games and pair it up with an event or other incentives for the Hypixel community to join in and enjoy the update together with game veterans.

Again, this does not mean that we will have weekends like this one for every single game, but we want to try and expose those older fun games to a bigger audience.

This being said, we will continue to try and add value to all our games, but you can understand that we cannot spend all of our development time on updating older games.
Popular games (current flavor is BedWars) are often requiring more attention but we are still trying to balance between game updates for older games, game updates for newer games as well as server wide improvements and features.

I cannot promise you that we will update your favourite game within the next weeks, but we will try and do our best to add value to as many games as we can.

Today we've released an update to Bed Wars which adds a new time-limited 40v40 Dream mode, replacing the recently introduced Ultimate Dream mode. Don't worry: as we release new dream modes we plan to put previous modes into rotation again in the future! So if you missed a mode you will have a chance to play again.

Last week we gave you an insight into Guild Update and Cops & Crims which you can READ HERE Thank you for the great response to the first summary I thought I would share some more highlights this week (this doesn't include everything we are working on):

Why another Skywars/Bedwars update?: When we move to a new project we often set goals of what we would like to achieve with the update in SW/BW one of these was to try micro updating which allows us to release more regular content to rather than a big single update.

We currently only have 1/2 developers assigned to SW/BW as their primary focus so most of the team are actually working on other content updates so don't worry the Guild Update or other updates are not being slowed down because of these updates. This style of updating doesn't work on every update such as guild update due to it's integration across the network although you may see this style of updating with other mini games in the future.

Mega Walls: Following the Reclaim Update, we've been listening to your feedback and making its of appropriate balance changes and bug fixes. This week we released a balance patch based on this community feedback which you can see HERE

Prototype: Over the June we have content updates for the Bridge, Pit and KOTH so players who are wondering what is next for prototype there will be news on these this month. We are currently working on plans for both Zombies and Hide n Seek to become permanent features in arcade with more news to come out about this.

Although this is a small insight to our current development plans, we are excited to share more progress updates moving forward.
