Introducing the MVP++ Rank Addon with all new features
In a recent thread we asked for your suggestions, and one of the main suggestions that came up time and time again was that long-time supporters wanted a new way to support the server, a new Rank with valuable features like a re-designed /nick command, private game support and other special features.
Today we are proud to say we are launching a new Rank Addon, MVP++, and we are super excited to bring you along on this next stage of our journey as a community.
▶ What is the MVP++ Rank Addon?
In December 2013 over 4 years ago, we launched MVP and MVP+ Ranks. The server was young - we were very excited about our "World Record" 16,000 players, a record we would go on to break many times with your help. 6 months later the Minecraft EULA was announced, and it was terrifying. The EULA hurt out income quite badly, and we struggled to cover the high expenses of running a Minecraft server.
Whilst other servers closed around us, we decided not to give up and tripled the size of the team. Our thinking was that with enough hard work and clever thinking, we could stand out from the competitors and improve ourselves to survive. The amount of quality games and systems on the server improved and soon we started to break player records across the board. Backed by the support of our community, we were able to invest further in Minecraft and scale our team beyond anything we could have ever imagined.
In 2013 when we launched MVP+, we said it would be our final Rank. A lot has changed in those past 4 years, but we are still keeping that promise. Today we are launching a brand new Rank Addon, MVP++, that can be added onto your MVP+ Rank to give you some of the most requested features from the Hypixel community. Hide and Seek v0.2 - Prop Hunt Mode, New Map + More
We just released a patch for Hide and Seek in the Prototype Lobby, available to play now. This release includes a brand new mode - Prop Hunt - a new festive-themed map for the original mode - now called Party Pooper - as well as lots of bug fixes.

Duels v0.5 Patch - New Modes, Maps, Bug Fixes and more
A massive new patch has been released for Duels, available to play now in the Prototype Lobby. For information on what changes are included, check out the details below.
This patch contains a considerable amount of content as we move towards a more full Duels experience on the server. Lots of systems have been rewritten to provide a better and cleaner experience in Duels, as well as the addition of 2 new maps for all modes, 3 maps for the new SkyWars mode plus OP Doubles, NoDebuff mode and Combo mode.
