Hypixel SkyBlock Patch Notes 0.20.3 - Better Mayors

Greetings, citizens of Hypixel SkyBlock! We're proud to announce that the highly anticipated changes to Mayors are ready to go! This update comes with changes to a many perks that each mayor provides, ranging from brand new perks, additions to previous offerings, and more!
These changes are not limited to Mayor perks, however, as some changes are active regardless of whether a certain mayor is elected for the greater good of our world.
This update definitely has something for everyone! Let's dive right in.
SkyWars Doubles Normal Tournament Results
Hey,
Last weekend we hosted the SkyWars Doubles Normal Tournament! Here are some quick stats from the event:
- 824,500 total player kills
- 39,408 games played
- 31,107 unique players
- Total combined playtime of all players during the tournament: 2 years and 8 months
You may now claim your tournament rewards at the NPC!

Hypixel Zombies - Brand New Prison Map! - June 2024

Hypixel Tournaments - SkyWars Doubles Normal
Hey everyone!
Today, we're happy to announce the next tournament - SkyWars Doubles Normal!
If you don't know about tournaments or the Tournament Hall, or if you'd like to know more about some of the terms in this post, make sure to take a look at the first tournament post.
If you missed out on previous tournaments, no big deal!
You don't need to have played in previous tournaments to participate. You are on an even footing in every tournament.
► How to participate?
This tournament will take place on June 21st.
It will last 48 hours total, from 6 PM EDT June 21 until 6 PM EDT June 23
Note: Due to this tournament and to minimize changes, map rotations will be on hold until after the tournament.

Social Update - Blocks, Voicemail & Keywords - June 2024
Hello everybody,
Today we're announcing the release of a social update, with three main components! Read on to find out more.
► Block System
As some of you might have noticed, the /ignore system has been replaced with a new /block system. All your previous ignores have been automatically converted to blocks, which should have the same effect as the previous ignore system!
The block system was created because we wanted to offer more functionality, which wasn't possible with the current backend of the ignore system. More importantly: You are now able to block players that are nicked. They will appear under their nickname on the block list until that nickname is no longer used by that player, at which point the name will update to their real username.
This system has been in the works for a while as it is important to us that you can hide chat and other interactions with players, even if they are nicked. Being nicked does not exempt you from the rules.
► Voicemail
When you're idling on our server, you may be moved to a place called Limbo. You being in this place saves server performance that we can then use for games and lobbies. In this place, you can still receive messages, but now with the new voicemail system, it will keep track of all your private messages you receive. Once you are no longer idle, you will be suggested to view those messages again that you may have missed. There are limits to how many messages are stored and for how long, but most players should not be affected by these limits.
► Chat Keywords
You can access this new feature by opening the settings menu (/settings), clicking "Chat Settings" at the top, and then you can find it in the bottom right!
