This 18 oz hand thrown and altered mug was handmade on my pottery wheel in Hubert, NC. After I threw the mug shape on my wheel with speckled brown stoneware clay I let it dry for a day and then altered the shape of the belly by pressing lines in it from the outside and pushing out on the inside. I attached a necklace of clay balls with dark clay around it the neck of the mug. It has a strong handle that comfortably fits 3 fingers. The glaze is a nice sage green. It has a very sturdy base and is perfect for warming hands around its round belly! Dishwasher, oven and microwave safe. 4 1/4 inches wide excluding the handle, and 3 3/4 inches tall. It holds 18 oz. of your favorite beverage. Carved Mug, Carved Pottery, Barbed Wire Art, Pottery Necklace, Mug Pottery, Pottery Glazes, Barbed Wire, Pottery Wheel, Stoneware Mugs
