Identified as Banksia ashbyi shrub grows up to 4 m high and 2 m wide, native to Western Australia. Location: Kings Park, Perth, WA Not to be confused: - this species leaves and fully open flowers look very similar to Banksia victoriae, but B. victoriae has "woolly" flowers buds and tomentose new leaves (hairy), so commonly known as "Woolly Orange Banksia".
