One of my most popular matcha bowls is back—just with a little tweak! This version is a bit taller and not as wide as the last one, but the glaze stays the same (because why mess with a good thing, right?). I’ve always felt like this glaze and clay were made for each other—the way they blend just works. The natural, earthy tones make it perfect for any matcha ritual or tea ceremony. For the ultimate ramen experience, the bowl is just as important as the food it contains. Many factors, like the bowl’s shape, weight, exterior curvature, affect whether the ramen bowl is considered good or not. I used a finely speckled stoneware clay, which will be really beautiful and natural when glazed glossy clear only on the inside. What do you think?"

Are they green or blue? These bowls have glazed beautifully, with one side revealing more green tones and the other more blue. These were just a test, so I only have four at the moment, but I’ll definitely be making more. Fingers crossed the glaze gods work their magic again! This is the beauty of handmade ceramics and own -made glazes. 😏 so what do you think ?
