Architecture - Shown here is the Chiswick House designed and built by Richard Boyle, near London, England, from 1726-1729. The building derives from Neo-Palladian architecture, inspired by Andrea Palladio's Villa Rotunda. Just like the Villa Rotunda, the Chiswick House also has a completely symmetrical building with a square plan with four facades branching off the middle, each facade having a portico. I did something I don’t typically do: I spent all day in one part of town. For what I post and the nature of my current lifestyle, I often jampack my London schedule and find myself zipping all over the city.
