Classroom decorating ideas. I like lots of lights and lamps in my classroom rather than always using those harsh florescent lights. Also it is good to have the extra light when using the promethean board so I can see the students and they have enough light to be able to work. I use gem clips to hang Christmas lights around the ceiling and also put them around bulletin boards. Lamps are placed throughout the room. It's cozy and the kids love it.

Christmas light name project

These personalized name displays would make a lovely and bright addition to the classroom in the lead up to Christmas. Students will choose the light bulbs containing the letters of their names and add them to the light string. Print in Festive colours or on white paper for students to decorate themselves. Display with the included banner that says “We light up this room”.
