Grandma's Shoulder Shawl Crochet Pattern ODC2020

Using the new Caron Cakes by Yarnspirations I designed this shawl to take full advantage of the natural ombre effect of this yarn. This shawl can be adjusted and made longer if desired. The shawl is an easy pattern to complete using a Granny Style stitch. The ombre effect is continued with the tassles. This shawl uses only 2 Caron Cakes which makes it quick, fun and easy to crochet.

This pattern was designed by Anastacia Zittel. It was a nice pattern to make and turned out very nice. I used a K hook with worsted weight #4 acrylic yarn. The shawl as pictured took 16 ounces/451 grams - 781 yards/713 meters. It worked up very fast. I recommend the pattern for anyone starting out in crochet and wanting to make a lovely gift. You can use any weight yarn and crochet until you make the size you want.
