Remember that King Arthur challenge way back? Yeah well, finally decided to give it another go. Redesigning my old King Arthur and giving him some company with more characters from the tale. With some quick rough sketches, line work and rendering put each character on about 10 hours, from start to finish.

This spectacular armour was made by the legendary Terry English, who has been constructing armour for the film industry for over forty years, and has even been stamped with his identifying mark on either side of the neck. This style features in the final scenes when the Romans make their stand against the invading Saxon warriors and an epic battle ensues between the Romans and Woads against the Saxons.
