The great thing about dishes like this is that you truly can throw just about anything found in your freezer and pantry in there, and the chances of a tasty meal are a mere couple hours away. Make stone soup when you have leftover veggies to use up to help reduce food waste. There are no rules. The only recommendation I’d have is that if you have some bitter greens to add (spinach, chard, etc.), you cook them separately, and only add them to an individual bowl of soup.
