Some people may develop jowls earlier than others and a variety of factors can play a role, including genetics, sun exposure (yes more reasons to protect from the sun), and other lifestyle choices.  So what can you do about jowls? In terms of things at home there is not a lot that is likely to deliver significant improvements (and yes I know there are many posts on gua sha, facial yoga, microcurrent etc.), but in terms of long term lasting improvement I don’t think the at home strategies are as effective!
