September book displays

Back to School Book Display with composition notebook and scissors printed with our poster printer. Pencil prop made from pool noodles, duct tape, and a rolled up piece of black cardstock for the tip. Apple bunting and other images found online. "Take a Book Along For the Ride" font is Chalk. Pencil bunting was a printable from U Create Crafts.

It's Halloween time and the library has some awesome displays this year! Our first display is covered in slime! I got this idea from Pinterest, it was easy to make and looks great in person. I started off by getting a stack of lime green paper. I cut out five different variations of slime and then used those as templates to cut out approx 40 pieces of slime. Since February is Library Lover’s Month, I wanted to showcase something that librarians work very hard on and that patrons love: all those wonderful book displays!

My try at the Fall into Good Reading bulletin board in the dorms. "Leaf Your Worries Behind. Rake up a Good Read" with book suggestions. A resident even suggested to encourage the hall to write their current semester worries on the leaves to "leaf" them behind!
