Toyota sienna camper

I finished a prototype and test of an expanding sleeping platform. Please don't mock my workmanship as I'm a hack at woodworking and I threw this together...

This is a sleeping platform I installed in my 2017 Toyota Sienna minivan for road trips and camping. Using commercial kitchen shelving and trimmed down posts that are attached to a 4 by 8 foot sheet of birch plywood. The shelf sizes are two 24”x48” and two 24”x36”. Nothing is permanently attached to the van. Sleeps two very comfortably with Therm-a-Rest Mondo Kings!

The skirted table is made from an end table from Goodwill that I cut in half, painted and distressed it and cut the legs shorter. I added a wooden bowl from Walmart to make the sink. The stripe ticking skirt hides the water and drain containers. The wood shelf is also from Goodwill that was taller than pictured.
