The Vampire Squid is a squid that has a vampire-like spiked cape (shown if it is scared.) If it is too scared, it squirts out green slime. It lives in the deep waters of the Midnight Zone, the darkest part of the ocean. The vampire squid is vertically distributed between depths of 300-3000m with a majority of vampire squids occupying depths of 1,500-2,500m. It can swim surprisingly fast for a gelatinous animal, reaching speeds of over two body lengths per second. It also has the largest eyes relative to its body size of any animal.

Our planet constitutes of oceans which are yet to be explored fully. The deepest of oceans are home to some of the most mysterious creatures not witnessed by many.

These are the most bizarre aliens ... err, animals ... in the ocean.
