PRICES MAY VARY. Celosia Supercrest seeds---These are multicolored ranging from gold to pink and red to green. Perfect for the summer garden and very easy to direct seed. If your soil is very fertile we have had these reach heights of 30". Flowers all summer and is one of the few flowers to prefer summer heat. Loosen enriched garden soil down to a 6" depth. When soil is consistently 70 degrees (for zone 6-7 usually June 1st) scatter seeds on surface and cover very lightly with sand, fine vermiculite, or screened peat as Celosia needs sunlight to germinate. Once they are about 2" tall thin to at least 6" spacing. We have also had luck transplanting stems at this height. You can also start these early in trays but they are more robust when direct seeded.
