Principles of design(unity): This image is an example of unity because all the butterfly’s are placed around each other in a circular pattern creating unity.

Unity is used in this piece through repitition of the bird. The Birds are arranged in a gridlike manner and even thought they have differing hues they are all the same size and shape creating a sense of unity
