My favourite thing about my travel journals is that I can open any page and be taken back to that place and time, remembering the feeling of being in that place. Just thinking about favorite places in Maine. At this moment in the background of my mind I am hearing the Beatles: "Love, Love, Love..." Hmm...What to do with this? Is it a storyboard for some paintings? A storyboard for a little book? Might I add text & turn it into a graphic novel of sorts? Hmmm....

Before I started painting in a journal, I was intimidated about painting something that didn’t turn out, feeling that since it was a permanent page it my
