I remember really liking the trend of petrol blue statement walls in the bedroom a few years back. Even though the blue paint color of this bedroom is deeper and more muted, it does remind me of the high contrasting effect it has in a bedroom especially. I think the effect of the wall color is enhanced so much by the fact that the built-in wardrobe has been painted in the exact same color. This adds a certain unity and has a beautiful monochrome effect in the space.
