Do I need a subscription?

No. Illustro is pay‑as‑you‑go. Buy credits once and use them whenever you like with no auto‑renewals or monthly fees.

How do credits work?

Generating an illustration costs 1–2 credits depending on the mode, editing with AI costs 3 credits, exporting SVG costs 1 credit, and animating an illustration costs 4 credits per second. Credits are only deducted for successful generations.

Do credits expire?

No. Credits never expire. You can buy now and use them later. They stay in your account until you use them.

What if I only need one illustration?

Start with the $7 pack. Generating usually costs 1–2 credits, and the rest stay in your account for whenever you need another illustration.

Will I see the final total before paying?

Yes. Credit pack prices are tax‑inclusive where Stripe calculates tax, so the price you choose is the total you confirm in checkout.

Do I need an account to use my credits?

Yes. Credits are saved to your Illustro account so you can access them anytime. If you buy first, we'll help you sign in after checkout so your credits are safely linked.

Is checkout secure and what payment methods are supported?

Payments are processed by Stripe. We don't store your card details. Major debit/credit cards are supported, with Apple Pay and Google Pay available where supported by your device and region.

Will I receive an invoice or receipt?

Yes. A receipt is automatically emailed to you after purchase.

Can I use the illustrations commercially?

Yes. You get full commercial usage rights for illustrations you generate with Illustro.

What if I run out of credits?

You can top up anytime. Your previously generated illustrations remain saved in your account.

Can I get a refund?

If something goes wrong, contact us at info@illustro.app and we'll help. Credit purchases are generally final once credits are delivered, except where required by law.
