Canvas & Net Bags

First things first: remove the leather handles before washing—your leather will thank you.

One-color canvas items and all net bags: hand-wash in cold water and let it hang out to dry (air drying is the best kind of drying).

Multicolor canvas items: Dry clean only.

Canvas pouches: Hand-wash in cold water or toss them inside-out in the washing machine on a delicate cycle with similar colors.

If your bag has leather details sewn on, just give those spots some love with a gentle wipe of a mild detergent solution and avoid soaking the leather.

Heads up: our canvases are 100% untreated cotton, but if you are looking for a protective spray, we recommend using Vectra® 16, a non-toxic fabric protector that is effective at warding off dirt and minor stains. Please follow the use instructions provided by Vectra®.

Indigo Wash Guide

Indigo fabric loves to share its color—so during the first few washes, expect some natural fading and dye release. This is how that classic “denim” look with rich texture and grain develops over time.

Until the color settles in, wash your indigo pieces separately by hand in cold water, and hang them to dry in the shade (no sunbathing just yet).

Heads up: indigo can rub off onto lighter fabrics, so choose your outfit companions wisely!

Leather Care & Philosophy

We use only vegetable-tanned leathers—both colorful and undyed—because we want the natural beauty of each hide to shine through. Unlike chemically treated leather that’s smoothed and perfected, our leather keeps its unique marks—small scratches, scars, and blemishes that tell a story.

Choosing vegetable-tanned leather reflects our commitment to the environment and our passion for using minimally processed materials that age gracefully and honestly over time.

Our undyed leather is vegetable-tanned without any synthetic dyes or finishes. It won’t stay perfect—it’s meant to change. Over time, it darkens, softens, and develops a gentle polish from sun, touch, and life. This natural aging gives each piece a personality that’s all its own, shaped by you.
