Kimberly Weimer on Instagram: "Some common eyeliner mistakes women over 50 make include applying too much product, using harsh or dark colors, and not blending properly.

For women over 50, softer eyeliner styles like tightlining, using a smudged pencil liner, or opting for a subtle winged eyeliner can be flattering. These styles can define the eyes without appearing too harsh.

Blondie Social on Instagram: "I would have laughed if someone told me to stop wearing foundation 15 years ago! My routine was foundation all over, then powder on top, then bronzer, then blush, then illuminator, and then a little more powder to set it all!! That still works when you're in your 20s and 30s- but applying that much makeup on mature skin will only make it look older!! Our skin needs moisture and LESS MAKEUP. I know some of you are going ask what about age spots, or redness, or dark circles- you can definitely provide color correction to those areas without having to apply a full coverage foundation. If you need to even out your skin tone you can always apply a tinted moisturizer first. Above all, focus on your skincare because the right canvas is the most important! I see Look Younger With Makeup, Makeup Age 40, Applying Makeup Over 40, Makeup For Uneven Skin Tone, Clean Fresh Makeup, Makeup For 45 And Older, Apply Foundation Tutorial, Natural Makeup For Over 40, Makeup For 50 Plus

Kimberly Weimer on Instagram: "In areas more prone to movement try to avoid concealing/foundations that are too light. In addition to creasing, lighter shades inadvertently highlight the problem areas and draw attention to them instead of away. Instead, try placing a shade one or two shades lighter than your foundation in the areas I mentioned in the video to draw the eye to a different place. @stansoutbeauty sponge can@be used damp or dry!
