Obsidian celadon glaze from Amaco is a great base layer for combinations. It also makes a great glossy black on it's own.Here's our favorite Obsidian combination. It's 3x Obsidian as a base, then 3x Blue Rutile (Amaco) over the top. This combination was especially great over texture. We've used the texture 8 tool from Garrity Tools on this wheel thrown mug.
