Artichoke flower

The artichoke is a food, a flower, a powerful nutritional and medicinal plant, one of my first keto food substitutes, and a symbol of hope and prosperity.⠀

Artichokes usually take more than 150 days to mature from seed and are highly sensitive to extremes of hot and cold-a narrow set of growing requirements that eliminates them from most gardens.
