Bird feeder platform

I built this bird feeder to replace a small plastic one that we had in our back yard. The platform is 25” square. I didn’t set out thinking about how big it would be but I’m happy with the way it turned out.

I bought a window screen on clearance years ago with a plan to make a platform feeder. Never happened. Until now! My hubbie built this out of a pallet and used a fallen branch for the post. It's rustic and sturdy and MUCH more than I could have hoped for!

This is a handmade squirrel and bird feeding platform and shelter. All made from wood and was made in Normandy France! The feeder is finished with a natural wood stain and mat varnish for a subtle and characteristic look and also has a protective layer for durability.
