St Lawrence's church at Weston sub Edge dates back at least to the 13th century, but of the medieval building only the 15th century tower remains, following the restoration (or rather rebuilding) of the church in 1853-4 by Frederick Preedy. Inside there are further reminders of the old church, but the most dominant feature of the otherwise Victorian interior is the rich stained glass, also by Preedy, that fills nearly every window.
