I pinned this picture because being a single parent has taught me a lot about myself and about life in general. Being a mother is what has pushed me to want to succeed, it has given me this urge to want to better myself. I have learned patience, perseverance, and grit. I have become very goal oriented and motivated since becoming a mother. I learned the value of frugality when necessary. But more importantly, I learned that my education will impact my child's life enormously.
