A stiff leg deadlift (SLDL) is to target mainly hamstrings.. you can do these with a barbell which you would start from the ground for.. but if performing them with dumbbells you are able to start from the top as well …you want to have relaxed knees (just make sure they’re not locked out completely) and as you send your hips back bring your knees back with them while lowering the chest by hinging at the hips making sure not to round your back, bend at the waist or let your knees come forward.. if needed you can add plates under your toes (not the entire foot, just the toes to slightly lift them to cue you to sit back into your heels) to help cue you to sit back into your heels to get that mind muscle connectio One Leg Deadlift, Romanian Deadlift, Back Bend, Stiff Leg Deadlift, Barbell Deadlift, Functional Fitness, Self Made, Tried And True, Personal Training
