European Mount. Boiled, treated and spray painted the deer skull. Torched the wood, varnished it and wiped the varnish off with paper towel right after. Screwed three boards to the back to hold everything together.

Ladies.. I never would have thought I would be the one to hang deer in my living room but I’m actually loving the way my DIY farmhouse inspired mount came out. We repurposed floor boards torn out of an old house. They had been painted over many times but after a little sanding the colors came out great! My fiancé and I both agree it’s the perfect mix between rustic & feminine, it’s a win-win!
