This fact vs. opinion sort gives students a chance to distinguish between fact and opinion in preparation for writing about their own opinion.   Use this in small groups or as a whole group activity on the whiteboard. Each card follows OG scope and sequence through y says e and two syllable/compound words (ie: sometimes). This activity comes with 24 fact or opinion cards and heading cards to sort into categories. We are working on distinguishing between facts and opinions this week. I made this fact and opinion sort to help students practice telling the difference between the two to use tomorrow.
