Glass monster

Creature designs for the group project - Hiraeth - True to their name, these spiders have a glass like genetic structure. This is due to their consumption of the crystals in caves. These spiders survive by blending into the crystals and camouflaging themselves from the predators. They also use this trait as an advantage to hunt for unsuspecting prey.

Crafted of hardened glass and held together by magically treated lead, glass golems are both deadly guardians and works of exquisite art. Glass golems most often protect grand cathedrals or opulent palaces—testaments to the wealth and power of those they serve, or once served. Once spurred into action by the commands of their creators, glass golems are quicker and more agile than most other golems. Their sharp, blade-like limbs can easily sever veins and arteries, creating wounds that bleed…

Just a little monster for fun =)

This monster is a herbivore. It eats berries from the nearest bushes and trees. Its back spike, tusk and claws are made of glass, sometimes when defending itself it shatters. That's why its skin is quite thick to make it impenetrable by glass shards. Once its glasses break it eats limestone and sand to grow back the lost glass then polishes it afterwards. Even this monster looks intimidating, it is peaceful and friendly. This monster hides from threatening creature and sometimes coils itself…
