We’ve all heard the cliché, “a picture tells a thousand words,” but there is real value in using images to translate an experience. Images help us learn; images grab attention, images explain tough concepts, and inspire. This image was from one of our visits to a school (ten benches under a tarp) in Pakistan.

This picture shows the generosity of Filipino people to help each other at all times, regardless of their status in life. It calls for the Holy Spirit to help the needy in our own simplest ways.

The picture depicts a group of people who are the epitome of charity since they see Christ in their neighbors and consider others as they prepared packages for the needy. Being charitable is difficult as it requires you to still help others despite the hardships you feel, and I realized charity gives us the most rewarding feeling and hope that someday to perfect this gift.
