The Catcher in the Rye

Catcher in the Rye is one of my all time favorite books, not only in this year of English. It brought me happiness because through all the buildup and all the scares and all the phoniness that I put up with as a reader, the book ended with a peaceful and proper ending. Holden finding peace for himself after all that he has had to go through, a ripple effect caused by Allie’s death, is the proper, best ending for The Catcher in the Rye.
