Janis Joplin is our pet lover of the day and this photo depicts her sunny side with her best friend "George" by her side. In fact George accompanied Janis pretty much everywhere... on road trips, rehearsals and he lived with her in Marin County up until her last days (when she was recording her album "Pearl" in LA). — with Janis Joplin.

So iv found more images of hippies.. this time the real ones from the 1960's/70's. i love them.. they are so cool! deffonatly think my project is going to have some hippie influence. Found these images from all over the web, mostly from blogs. This is a ticket for the music festival, 'Woodstock'.. which was a place that hippies would gather each year. Music is also a big part of being a hippie.
