Leanne Kilroy on Instagram: "Bay windows are beautiful but finding inexpensive curtains and tracks can be tricky. This is how I do it on a budget (products listed below). One set of standard curtains won’t come close to covering an entire bay, so to get around this without the expense of bespoke curtains you can simply hang two sets. We’ve done this in our living room and it’s impossible to tell there’s an extra set on there when they’re pulled open, and, if there’s enough extra gather, it’s pretty hard to tell when they’re closed. Just make sure you have enough length so the curtains graze the floor. Now onto the tracks. For both of our bay windows, I purchased @silentglissltd bay curtain tracks via @myhomeofinteriors. We are obsessed with how these turned out and transformed our space! They provide the perfect amount of privacy for our big windows while also still allowing enough sunlight to keep our room light and bright! Quick How Too: - firstly unbox! - we then laid out our tracks in front of the window and used the metal connection piece to connect each rod - as per the guide we measured the appropriate distance for where the brackets need to be on the ceiling - we then marked with a pencil and drilled brackets to the ceiling with screws provided (we used wall mates aswell to hold to ceiling) - we then clipped the curtain rods to the brackets using the Linen Sheers, Bay House, Big Windows, Linen Curtains, The Curtain, New Build, Room Lights, The Ceiling, Curtain Rods
