Tornado warnings. Menacing clouds. Torrential rain. This mom to be is calm and collected. Lucky baby.

There’s gotta be something poetic I could write about wild, spontaneous storms during your maternity session that was planned around the weather 🌧️ But instead, I’ll just let these photos speak for themselves. We had originally planned to document M + B’s maternity photos at a beautiful park in Minneapolis but instead were given a crazy Midwest storm! (And if you’ve been to the Midwest, you know that storms often involve lighting, thunder, and pouring rain. ⛈️) Since my time in Minnesota was limited, a reschedule wasn’t a great option. It’s been quite the year juggling outdoor sessions with all this rain. This one started sunny, then it rained all whilst blowing a gale 🤦🏼‍♀️ The pouring the water over the bump was so hard as the wind blew it away 🤣 I love the final few minutes of light in a shoot and of course with my lovely lantern ❤️
