[b]Sandringham House[/b] Originally purchased in 1863 by King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra, the Queen’s much-loved Norfolk home boasts 25 hectares of gardens. The formal enclosed gardens were created by Geoffrey Jelicoe in 1947 for King George VI and are planted in a cottage garden style, best seen in late July when it is home to many bees and butterflies.
