Fury Road's practical effects have garnered a lot of deserved praise (actual flames shoot from an actual garbage guitar!), but George Miller also used complimentary digital effects to bring some of the movie's most badass scenes to life.

I made these scenes for the Daily Spitpaint group on Fb. They were inspired by photos of real sandstorms in Australia (and, just for the record, before Balde Runner 2049 came out :D).
