The lights addition was the perfect addition to this project. We picked 3 brands of popcorn and popped 3 bags for each brand. Then we separated the un-popped kernals and counted them. Repeat steps for each brand of popcorn. Publix brand had the least kernals left. It was super cool and we learned so much from this project.

For weeks, The Boy and I (with occasional help from his siblings and Daddy) have been working on his science fair project. In review, he had chosen to experiment with UV sensitive beads to determine what items would best protect you from UV rays. We have actually been done with the experiment for well over a week and have been patiently awaiting some graphs I had ordered prints of (my laser printer is only black & white so I was hoping for a few color graphs). My feeble attempt to capture my handsome boys was a success! The caboose was a hit and they had so much fun figuring out where to sit or stand, making my job so easy! This caboose is right here in our little town, part of a little historical depot museum. It has been restored just recently making it a perfect backdrop for their pictures and a fun place to play! Here are just a few of the moments captured.
